Street Stick is an intensive four-hour course designed to educate and train participants in the effective use of impact weapons—ranging from an everyday pen to a stick found on the ground.
The course is divided into two categories:
- Short sticks – Pens, flashlights, kubotans, saps, and blackjacks.
- Intermediate sticks – Canes, escrima sticks, and umbrellas.
Impact weapons are not only practical self-defense tools but also a legally and tactically sound option in many situations. They offer a force alternative that reduces the likelihood of coming into contact with an attacker’s blood, unlike edged weapons. Additionally, they are the best mechanical force option in non-permissive environments such as airplanes, government buildings, and schools, where knives and firearms are restricted.
This course is built on the principles of Combative Anatomy, ensuring that students understand how to maximize effectiveness with these tools in real-world scenarios.
Required Gear:
- Headgear
- Eye protection
- Shin guards
- Elbow guards
- Hockey gloves
Training weapons will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
